Artist Statement & Bio

My work is an exploration of the silent life of objects — born from a moment of stillness in the ancient forests of Redes, Asturias, where I asked myself: why not destroy the mold and rebuild it differently?

Based in Asturias, I seek to capture the moment where a forgotten element regains its dignity through light and frame. I don't photograph products; I document the soul of the used, the textured, and the resilient — rescuing the visual memory of our heritage.

In a world obsessed with the new, STRUUNT is a tribute to the passage of time. Every work is a limited edition, printed on museum-grade archival materials to ensure its legacy.

Bio: Javier Alarma Suárez is the Director of Photography and Head of Production at RTPA (Radio Televisión del Principado de Asturias). His fine art practice, STRUUNT, channels his cinematic eye into serialized photography sought after by collectors and interior designers looking for exclusive art that challenges the decorative boundary.
