ABOUT STRUUNT
We are surrounded by objects. Some we use, some we keep, some we forget. Yet each one carries traces of time, stories, and silent emotions.
At Struunt, I explore this hidden language of things.
Through careful composition and photography, I present everyday materials—wood, metal, fabric, fragments—isolated or reassembled. Objects worn by time, or deliberately deconstructed, are transformed into poetic images.
Each piece captures a unique visual moment. Often, the objects themselves are ephemeral: built, photographed, and then dismantled. What remains is the image—a trace of something that no longer exists.
This is not about perfect objects or classic still life. It is about texture, memory, imperfection, and the subtle beauty of what is often overlooked.
Struunt invites you to look again at what surrounds us, and to bring these images—these small visual poems—into your own space.
Javier
Searching for the soul of things
At Struunt, we give new life to discarded fragments — forgotten pieces of wood, worn metal, broken objects — transforming them into visual compositions that speak of memory, silence, and simplicity.
Each piece is more than an object: it is a moment suspended in time, an echo of craftsmanship and nature, captured through the lens.
We do not create art from perfection. We celebrate the beauty of imperfection.

Photographs you can feel, memories that last
Printing on cotton paper turns a simple image into an experience. Its warm and elegant texture enhances every detail, bringing depth and vibrancy to colors. Being a natural, acid-free material, it ensures that your memories remain intact over the years. It’s more than just paper: it’s the most authentic way to give your photographs the beauty and durability they deserve.
Materials & Process
We work exclusively with reclaimed wood and traditional Dutch clogs (klompen), reshaping them into sculptures and photographic still lifes. Every element is hand-selected for its texture, wear, and origin. Through a meticulous process of cutting and composition, the material itself guides the final form.
Our artistic photography captures these works under controlled light, evoking calm, reflection, and timelessness.
HP glossy paper. 8-colour high quality photographic printing.
The 8-ink system produces a wider colour gamut than traditional printing.
The Framing Process
Take your photograph to the next level with professional framing that ensures its protection and enhances its beauty. Each piece is carefully mounted using the highest quality materials for museum-grade durability and presentation.
- Museum Glass: Enjoy unsurpassed clarity with no reflections and UV protection to preserve the vibrancy of the colors for generations.
- Museum-Quality Paper: The print is made on archival paper that ensures maximum fidelity and longevity of the image.
- Frames of Your Choice: Select the finish that best suits your style and decor, with options in minimalist metal or fine woods.
The cost of the framing service is personalized and calculated based on the dimensions of the photograph. If you would like your artwork framed, please request a quote, and I will inform you of the options and the final price.
Up to 2400 x 1200 dpi.
This sets a higher standard with more dots, perfect for professional prints with outstanding detail.
